Abolish the Senate

Hi This was originally designed for a teespring campaign ( www.teespring.com/abolishthesenate ) to rid Canada (possibly the UK and any other country using the archaic British parlimentary systems) of the virtually useless endlessly expensive government cronies that inhabit the Senate. These unelected space fillers don't answer the the people of Canada. They cost hundreds of millions of dollars and retire sometime after six years when they then proceed to suck a generous pension out of taxpayers pockets until they finally drop dead. While I admit to outright abolish the senate is extreme sometimes stating the extreme will at least get people to think in the middle and have a groundswell for senate reform. Meaning we vote these guys in and they are accountable to the people.
